Great outdoors the 'green' way to stay healthy

With the unseasonably warm weather we’ve had this winter in the Spa City, we’re fortunate to have a range of city parks around us featuring playgrounds, sand boxes, covered pavilions, grills, creeks and ponds and bike or walking trails.

One of the biggest concerns for children today is the risk of leading sedentary lifestyles because they don’t get out of the house enough. Besides the obvious physical fitness benefits of being outside, children can learn to play with others and develop an imagination if they get out from in front of the television every once in awhile.
